MyPlace Self Storage is excited to announce the acquisition of its newest facility in Uniontown, Ohio, marking the company’s 70th location nationwide and 11th acquisition of 2026.
Located at 3046 Myersville Road, the facility features approximately 83,830 net rentable square feet across 754 storage units, with a mix of climate-controlled and drive-up storage. The property also offers uncovered parking for cars, RVs, boats, trailers, and other vehicles.
The Uniontown facility was originally developed with non-climate-controlled storage and recently underwent a significant Phase II expansion. Completed in late 2025, the expansion added a new climate-controlled building and nearly doubled the property’s total net rentable square footage.
Growing Our Ohio Self Storage Portfolio
The Uniontown acquisition becomes MyPlace’s sixth facility in Ohio, bringing the company’s statewide portfolio to more than 390,000 net rentable square feet. With the addition of Uniontown, Ohio is now MyPlace’s fifth-largest state presence by net rentable square feet.
The facility expands MyPlace’s presence in Northeast Ohio and serves Uniontown along with nearby communities including Green, Hartville, Akron, Canton, and North Canton.
