Drive-Up Storage
Moving a sofa, appliance, stack of boxes, or heavy equipment is enough work without adding a long walk to your storage unit. Our drive-up access storage lets you pull your vehicle directly up to your unit for a shorter trip between the trunk, truck bed, or moving van and your belongings. That direct access is useful during moves and renovations, but it’s equally practical for contractors and businesses that regularly retrieve tools, equipment, or inventory. If you expect to visit your unit frequently, drive-up access can make loading, unloading, and reorganizing your belongings much more straightforward.
Uncovered Vehicle, Boat & RV Storage
Your garage and driveway aren’t the only places to store vehicles you don’t use every day. MyPlace offers uncovered vehicle storage in Franklin for qualifying cars, boats, RVs, trailers, motorcycles, ATVs, and other recreational vehicles, helping you reclaim valuable space at home while keeping your ride ready for its next outing.
MyPlace Self-Storage’s Franklin car storage is a practical option for extra or seasonal vehicles, while dedicated boat and RV storage provides space for larger recreational vehicles outside the driveway. Riders can also explore motorcycle storage and ATV storage for bikes and off-road vehicles that otherwise take up valuable garage or shed space. With southern Indiana recreation within reach, MyPlace gives you a dedicated home base for the vehicles and gear that don’t need to stay at home.

My husband and I moved about a year ago, needed the extra storage as we got things settled. Heartland storage was super helpful, easy to work with, clean… and the 24 hour access made everything super easy for us!! No complaints!!

About 2-1/2 years ago I was looking for a 10x10 unit. I had called around many places with no luck. When I had called Todd at Heartland he didn't have any 10x10's available but did offer 2 5x10's as an option. It wasn't what I thought I needed at the time and I wasn't sure if 2 5x10's would fit all of my furniture adequately. I chose to call more places with again no luck so I gave Todd a call back to ask for the units he offered. He was extremely helpful and over the phone had me set up for the billing portion of the paperwork. A year ago I had consolidated my stuff down to 1 unit. I called letting him know I moved out of the unit (roughly 2 weeks prior to the next billing date) and he credit me back the remaining rent from that month. Something I didn't expect and was very grateful for. This past weekend I had moved out of my last unit into my house and had planned on calling Todd Monday morning to let him know. After years of my furniture in storage there wasn't any damage nor unwanted guests among my stuff (yay!). I think it was maybe an hour after moving my stuff out he had called checking in to make sure my unit was okay because he didn't see a lock on it. That right there is not something you'll find at every storage unit. He cares for the property and his tenants. I wish I could rate this places a million stars. Thank you Todd and the staff at Heartland for a lovely experience! Close More
