MyPlace Self Storage is excited to announce the acquisition of two additional properties in Apache Junction, Arizona, marking the company’s 71st and 72nd locations nationwide and expanding its presence in the Apache Junction market from one facility to three.
Together, the two properties add approximately 57,000 net rentable square feet of self storage, 523 storage units, and more than 27,000 square feet of commercial space across 15 commercial units.
The acquisitions include new MyPlace facilities on West Superstition Boulevard and West Apache Trail, both offering convenient drive-up storage for residents and businesses throughout Apache Junction and the surrounding East Valley communities.
Two New MyPlace Locations in Apache Junction
The new MyPlace Superstition Blvd facility features approximately 37,000 net rentable square feet of storage across 330 drive-up units. The property also includes approximately 20,000 square feet of commercial space across 12 units.
Conveniently located near the Superstition Mountains, the facility provides accessible storage for residents and businesses throughout Apache Junction, Mesa, Gold Canyon, and surrounding communities.
The new MyPlace Apache Trail facility adds approximately 20,000 net rentable square feet of storage across 178 drive-up units, along with approximately 7,200 square feet of commercial space across three units.
Located along West Apache Trail, the property provides another convenient storage option for residents, businesses, contractors, and customers throughout Apache Junction and the East Valley.
Together with our existing MyPlace Apache Junction facility, which offers climate-controlled storage and vehicle parking in addition to traditional storage options, customers now have three MyPlace locations to choose from throughout Apache Junction.
Growing Our Arizona Self Storage Portfolio
With these two acquisitions, MyPlace now operates five facilities in Arizona, including three locations in Apache Junction. The additions grow MyPlace’s Arizona portfolio from approximately 122,000 to more than 206,000 net rentable square feet and bring the state portfolio to 1,907 storage units, plus 15 commercial units.
Arizona is now MyPlace’s eighth-largest state presence by net rentable square feet across the 15 states where the company operates.
