MyPlace Self Storage is excited to announce the acquisition of four additional self-storage facilities across North Carolina, expanding the company’s presence in Arden, Fletcher, Concord, and High Point. The acquisitions mark MyPlace’s 14th through 17th closings of 2026, bringing the company’s nationwide portfolio to 76 locations.
Previously operated under the Save Green Self Storage brand, the four properties add approximately 225,559 net rentable square feet and 2,114 units to the MyPlace portfolio. The facilities offer a combination of climate-controlled storage, drive-up access, and vehicle parking, providing convenient storage solutions for residents and businesses throughout their respective communities.
Four New MyPlace Self Storage Locations in North Carolina
MyPlace Self Storage Arden
Located on Hendersonville Road, the Arden facility features approximately 73,236 net rentable square feet and 614 units, including climate-controlled storage, drive-up units, and vehicle parking. Just south of Asheville, the property strengthens MyPlace’s presence in Western North Carolina.
MyPlace Self Storage Fletcher
Located approximately four miles from the new Arden facility, MyPlace Fletcher offers 47,150 net rentable square feet across 498 units. With climate-controlled storage, drive-up access, and vehicle parking, the property provides additional storage options for residents and businesses in the greater Asheville area.
MyPlace Self Storage Concord
The Concord facility adds approximately 55,725 net rentable square feet and 478 units, offering climate-controlled storage, drive-up access, and vehicle parking. Located in the Charlotte metropolitan area, the property complements MyPlace’s existing facilities in nearby communities, including Lowell and Fort Mill.
MyPlace Self Storage High Point
Located on Samet Drive, the High Point facility features 49,448 net rentable square feet and 524 climate-controlled units. The property serves residents, students, and businesses throughout the Greensboro and High Point area, including the nearby High Point University community.
Growing Our North Carolina Self Storage Portfolio
With these four acquisitions, MyPlace now operates 10 facilities across North Carolina, totaling more than 3,770 units and 396,000 net rentable square feet. North Carolina is now the company’s fifth-largest state portfolio by net rentable square feet.
The acquisitions strengthen MyPlace’s presence in several important markets, including the Asheville area, greater Charlotte, and the Greensboro-High Point region, while creating additional opportunities to serve customers near existing MyPlace facilities.
Nationwide, MyPlace Self Storage now manages approximately 39,606 units and more than 4.58 million square feet of self-storage space across its growing portfolio.
